South Wales Festival raises over £4 million

The twenty-fifth Annual Festival for The Grand Charity was held on Saturday,15 May 2010, at the Cardiff International Arena under the Presidency of Captain Sir Norman Lloyd-Edwards, KCVO, GCStJ, RD, RNR, Provincial Grand Master for South Wales, in the presence of the Deputy Grand Master, Jonathan Spence, who was accompanied by his wife, Almudena.
2,000 guests were invited to the event, at which it was announced that a total of £4,032,217 has been raised.
"The Province of South Wales has worked hard to raise funds and has been extremely generous, especially considering the difficult financial circumstances of recent years. On behalf of the Grand Charity, I am extremely grateful and thank all those who contributed towards our 25th Festival"
