PERMANENT POST – FULL TIME

The Freemasons’ Grand Charity is a grant-making charity dedicated to supporting people in need. The Charity was established in 1980 and has supported thousands of individuals and national charities, with grants totalling over £100 million.

As Director of Masonic Relief Grants you will be a member of the senior leadership group, taking responsibility for strategic and operational team management for Masonic Relief Grants, which are grants for individuals in financial distress.

You will compile team plans and budgets, drive implementation and ensure objectives are met. You will need knowledge of the macro social, economic and political environment affecting the policies of the Masonic Relief Grants function to ensure that the Charity continues to provide an appropriate and high quality service to eligible beneficiaries.  A thorough understanding of state benefits affecting household income and expenditure will be crucial.  You will also need excellent IT and data management skills and experience of managing data systems development as relevant to grant making.
