The Freemasons' Grand Charity
A grant-making charity dedicated to supporting people in need
Every year we award grants on behalf of thousands of individuals. In 2010, these totalled £4.9 million
Support for Freemasons and their dependants is the primary activity of the Grand Charity and no case of need is ever rejected.
Grants are given towards the cost of essential daily living expenses and unexpected needs.
There is no limit to the number of grants an individual may receive over their lifetime, although usually only one grant per year will be made.
The Freemasons' Grand Charity also has the unique responsibility of providing financial support to the other central Masonic Charities when justifiable needs are identified.
