Masonic Relief Grants 
Every year, The Freemasons' Grand Charity awards grants to thousands of applicants. Support for Freemasons and their dependants is one of the primary activities of the Charity and no case of genuine need is ever rejected.
About Masonic Relief Grants
- Grants given towards the cost of essential daily living expenses and unexpected needs.
- There is no limit to the number of grants an individual may receive over their lifetime.
- Usually only one grant per year will be made.
- Annual grants usually range from £100 to £4,500.

How to apply
- If you think you may be eligible (see above), you should contact your Lodge Almoner or your Provincial Grand Almoner, or if in doubt The Freemasons' Grand Charity office.
- If you are not sure who your Lodge Almoner is, we can usually arrange contact. They will then guide you through the application process.
- Applications are considered at a monthly meeting of the Masonic Relief Grants Committee.
- A decision is usually reached within 4-8 weeks of receipt of the application.
