Mobility Equipment Grants

As part of the support for the Masonic community, we manage a scheme offering the free loan of mobility equipment like stairlifts, mobility scooters and wheelchairs. Equipment is carefully chosen to meet the needs of the user and is supplied in partnership with the Keep Able Group (external link).

About the scheme

• A large range of mobility equipment is available
• Installation, training, on-going servicing and insurance of the equipment is also provided

Who is eligible?

• Any member of a Lodge under the United Grand Lodge of England, or their immediate dependant, who is experiencing a significantly impaired standard of living due to age or a long-term medical condition. This includes past and present members

How to apply If you think you may be eligible (see above), we will put you in contact with a local representative who will guide you through the application process The Masonic Relief Grants Committee considers application on a monthly basis Once the application has been accepted, details will be passed to the Keep Able Group who will visit the user and assess their precise needs
