SCARF Study

The Schizophrenia Research Foundation, India is conducting a three-year study into the impact of the tsunami on the psychological and social wellbeing of the child and adult survivors in Tamil Nadu, India.  Through the project the Foundation will support people affected by the tsunami and help to improve future disaster planning and responses.

The District Grand Lodge of Madras bought the £40,000 project to the attention of The Freemasons' Grand Charity and is working alongside Plan to monitor the study as the work unfolds.
