Transferred Beneficiaries Fund (formerly RMBI Annuity Fund)
The Transferred Beneficiaries Fund makes regular payments towards daily living expenses (eg rent, food, heating) to former beneficiaries of the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution Annuity Fund. In 2002, The Freemasons' Grand Charity took over responsibility for The Fund and in December 2008 there were 828 active beneficiaries.
Payments from the Fund are made direct to the beneficiaries in March, June, September and December.
The Fund no longer accepts new applications for assistance, but if a Freemason, his Widow or other immediate dependant is in genuine financial need they are encouraged to apply for a Masonic Relief Grant. Further information on Masonic Relief Grants
Current beneficiaries who have a query about their quarterly payments or anyone with a question about The Fund can contact The Freemasons' Grand Charity for futher assistance.
